DESCRIPTION: Petoral cream is a Ketoconazole cream used to treat fungal skin infections and can be used for:

• Ringworm (tinea corporis)
• Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
• Jock itch (tinea cruris)
• Seborrheic dermatitis (a type of dandruff or skin irritation)
• Yeast infections of the skin (e.g., caused by Candida)
• Pityriasis versicolor (a fungal infection that causes light or dark patches on the skin).

Ketoconazole kills fungi and yeast by interfering with their cell membrane formation, stopping their growth.
